COMPETITION DESIGN BRIEF
The A350F is a large freighter aircraft giving you over 1000m2 (622mi2) of surface to play with! Your creation should consider how this new generation, advanced, modern aircraft can benefit air freight operators and airlines from around the globe.
Depending on your style, your design can be simple or detailed, hand drawn, painted or created using any medium you choose. It can be completely abstract or realistic, submitted in 1 or many colours. The sky is literally the limit!
If your idea is chosen, our design experts will work with you to produce the final livery design, perfectly adapted for the A350F. It will be seen for the first time in the air on its first flight planned for 2024 and will be used to showcase the aircraft to operators and airlines around the world.
Requirements:
A350F design contest technical brief ● Designs can only include original artwork from the participant ● Stock shot images from image banks can be used but are subject to later licence availability ● Do not use images or artwork without copyrights or just picked on the web ● Designs have to be submitted on the aircraft side views provided only ● Company logo (Airbus) and product logo (A350F) have to be clearly visible on the design and shall not be modified in colour or in shape ● Two colour variants are provided (Airbus blue shades & black/grey) ● Areas on the aircraft which are designated as not customizable are to be left blank from any artwork ● Areas on the aircraft which are designated as non-adhesive compatible cannot be decorated with photo or very detailed artwork Check out the Airbus brand guidelines : www.brand.airbus.com File formats accepted: jpg, png, pdf Max le size accepted: 256MB Source files (vector graphics, original drawing & illustrations) will only be requested from the winning project. I can't see anyone has entered this competition!! Lol!! I am not surprised!!
Holy crap!! Check out the Airbus brand guidelines : www.brand.airbus.com. I spent about an hour & a half on Airbus's "brand" site and wow! I found a lot of pigeon holes where there are heaps of "stuff" but you have to log in to those pigeon holes and you can ONLY do that if you work for Airbus!!
So there's no way you're going to know which areas of the aircraft are "Areas on the aircraft which are designated as non-adhesive compatible and cannot be decorated with photo or very detailed artwork".
I did manage to get ONE picture of the A350F but it's an artist impression of what it will look like! Yes, it hasn't been build yet! Unfortunately I can't post that pic with this comment.
Oh!! BTW there NO accommodation and transfers included in this competition and I'm that won't be cheap when the Paris Airshow is on!!
