Spalding Rebound Basketball 7, Two for $20 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Rebel Sport

80

These outdoor size 7 basketballs are already a great deal at $12.99 each, but $10 each (2 for $20) is a steal.

I've been using one for a few months now and they are super grippy, and generally great to play with.

I wouldnt say a steal. Pretty ordinary ball but for $10 prob on par with a $10 ball from kmart.

    • Never tried the $10 kmart ones, but its better than most outdoor ones I've tried at the bottom end of the price range.

If only it wasn't so hideously ugly

    • It gets darker and less ugly pretty quickly, IRL.

  • I was pissed at missing the $30 Wilson Showcase deal (that people said turned out to be a great ball!), and was planning to buy one of these for a rubber ball (based on someone's recommendation on here). But I found a Wilson Signature Series (Indoor/Outdoor) marked down to $35 at CostCo - I believe they were getting rid of it because it was the last ball left. Couldn't really find reviews on this ball (Signature Series), but looks to be a cheaper "outlet" version (for sale in Walmart/CostCo/etc) of the Authentic Series. Hopefully it's similar to the Showcase!

Does anyone with the Showcase / Authentic Series (indoor/outdoor) have the grip/durability/feel ratings on the box? For comparison, this Signature Series (indoor/outdoor) is rated by Wilson as: 7 for grip, 8 for durability and 8 for feel. Just wondering how it compares (even just from self-rating by Wilson).

Is this Rebound ball still going to feel like rubbish compared to any synthetic leather ball? (I never really liked rubber balls!)

Someone also gave me a Spalding TF Flex, which I don't really like…is this Rebound any better?

Definitely no better than a TF Flex and way off a decent synthetic leather ball
