iPad Pro Temporarily Sold out at Amazon

I bought a 2021 iPad Pro 256gb 11 inch on Amazon last month the eleventh.

It said temporarily sold out, I thought it was going to take a week or two for the restock but after reading some post, it may take up to 3 months. I already bought the case and the pen. And I used the amazon gift card for the purchase of the iPad. I even asked the customer support about it, and they gave an inconclusive answer. Pretty annoyed that there's stock in Officeworks and JB Hi-Fi.

How long does the delivery usually take? And what should I do if the delivery doesn't come after couple of months?

    Cancel the order and buy from Officeworks or jbhifi? Amazon usually doesn't charge you till the order ships.

        If you get the order cancelled and refunded back as an Amazon gift card balance, you can use that balance to purchase Apple gift cards or Ultimate gift cards on Amazon.

        If you get the right kind of Ultimate gift card, you can redeem it at JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks. However, there are limitations to be mindful of in regards to the redemption of Ultimate gift cards at JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks, so if you actually want to go down that route, feel free to reach out before you buy any more gift cards…

    Amazon does not charge you until they send out your iPad, in the meantime you can still shop around for better deals and if you do find one, just cancel the order on Amazon.

    Can you cancel it and buy an Ultimate Gift for Home card on Amazon with your vouchers? I'm not sure if you can use vouchers to buy them but if so it's worth a try, you can use it at Officeworks and JB

          When I tried just now to check, I get the following message:

          Your gift card balance can’t be applied to orders that contain other Amazon.com.au gift cards.

          Edit: worked it out. You can't buy Amazon gift cards with the Amazon gift card credit on your account, but you appear to be able to buy other forms of gift cards with it though.

    Cancel your order and buy the newer model which was just released. Pretty sure the same case will fit the new model too. May as well get the M2 model instead of waiting for the M1 model.
