    nsw?

try tempe tyers. they are pretty cheap.

    • thanks vietbrgain, it's in Sydney. will give them buzz.

  • Give Tempe tyres a call and get a quote. I need tyres and went around to a few to compare. My tyres aren't similar to yours, 145/80/10, but the price at Tempe was far better.
    Bridgestone: $100 each
    Tyre power: $95 each
    Beaurepairs: $154
    Tempe: $65

    • Did you check what brand they gave you?
I work for Tyre Comapany, Better to buy well-known brand. Just remember you get what you pay for

OP stated Suppose to be 195/60R15 I recommended Goodyear DuraPlus. It's a very good tyre. It's about $100-$120 fitted. Check http://tyrehouse.net.au/. Sometimes they have buy 3 get 1 free promotion. Not sure if it's on now.

      • hey nicksnoobie,

The brands they had were Marshal (made by Kumho) and Kingstar (made by Hankook). I havn't actually bought the tyres yet, just got a quote. But i was thinking of getting the Marshal as my current tyres are Kumho. There isn't really much option when it comes to my tyres as i said the size is only 145/80/10 and the only makes i knew of (before going to tempe) that made that size was kumho and falken.

Thoughts on the two brands i mentioned?

        Thanks

        • 145/80R10? is a very very odd size. That's not for a car is it?

Well they should be alright, but it's probably a lower grade from Kumho. Kumho > Marshal.
Just try to avoid those brand you never heard of.
A client had brand new unknown brand tyre and it's worst than a retread Michelin.
I understand it's a lot cheaper but people should spend few more bucks for these.

        • Yup 145/80R10, they are for a morris mini. I think you're right about lower grade Kumho, but should do the job for my little car ;). Thanks for the help.

        • You should put 12's on it, and slam the hydrolastic suspension. That would be siiiiiick.

        • steptoe, would love to get it done, but have to stick to standard for better resale value

And Which brand is better if you have similar car / tyres(Kumho / Bridgestone / Goodyear / BobeJane Brand)?

I would not recommend Bobjane Brand,
Kumho, Goodyear is what I would use.

      Although I have bought second hand car and I just notices it has all for different tyres (185/65R14 86R , 185/70R14 84H, 175/70R14 86H, 175/70R14 84H
Those aren't suppose to be like that. 175/70R14 86H, 175/70R14 84H these are still ok though, They just have different load rating but you should change all of them to the same size.

      • thanks for comments @nicksnobbie, I am thinking to stick with 195/60R15. From Kumho SOLUS KH18 or Kumho SOLUS KH 17 which one will be better for my car.? Kumho seems good brand / not so expensive as goodyear or bridgestone.! will get all 4 and get Alignment + Balancing done at a same time.

    • Thanks mrhorseham, will give them a buzz, thinking to stick to Kumho brand. with 195/60R15. From Kumho SOLUS KH18 or Kumho SOLUS KH 17. will see which one is better. How was your experience with Kumho brand.? are they good reliable tires.?

  • So Far is 195/60R15 is a right size for my car. And thinking to choose from Kumho SOLUS KH18 or Kumho SOLUS KH 17.
