i thought for the price they were going to be Australian grown at the least

  • For 16$ you can get Coles 800g just as fresh.

  • Iranian pistachios are the tastiest

To the people here who are comparing American or Australian to Iranian pistachios, you obviously haven’t tasted the difference.

I mean, even Israel buys pistachios from Iran despite their qualms with each other.

You gotta pick your causes to boycott on OzB better. Attacking Jimmy Kimmel for black face years ago is not allowed, he made a [lame] apology and all is forgiven. Seems you can't make a stand against products from Iran based on concerns about their treament of women; note recent death in custody of female who broke the dress code laws. But it is open season on others, mainly conservatives. You need to be selectively rightous on this forum.

I'll stick to Australian pistachios. Farmers are doing it tough at the moment. There's a large pistachio farm on the Wakool River in Moulamein, south west NSW. I wouldn't be suprised if half their trees are underwater.

      • seems like they were flooded earlier this year around march and lost crops them

Hey All, thanks for the comments.

Like any other product you see in the market, not all pistachios are the same and therefore not all pistachios are priced similar.
You always pay more for a premium quality and taste.

This goes to every kind of product you see around yourself.
Definitely you can get cheaper pistachios at Coles or Aldi, but they won't be the same quality and taste.

There is no risk to try our pistachios, if you didn't like them, we guarantee 100% money back!
It's usually hard to resist stop eating them all once you cracked the first shell.

    • hard to resist eating.. yeah thats any pistachio… packaged in 200g tins though, i feel like i am paying for the fancy packaging. More success on OZB would be selling them in a sack :P

        • that would be great (would vacuum seal help with freshness?) you are right i cant resist pistachios
