Hi all!

So I purchased this deal

It arrived last week and the batteries (I assume) are dead. It worked for all of .5 seconds before dying and the strip to separate the battery terminal was in place so no sure why the batteries were drained.
I contacted jungle jumble and basically their response is too bad the batteries are dead and not part of warranty, they offered me to purchase another at the special price - i don't really see a point in that thought I just want ONE working unit.

Given in the product description it says comes with batteries. Doesn't that form part of the product? I can't even use the product and the batteries are going to cost me much more than the unit itself.

What do you guys think? I didn't get a response from them after a few emails back and forth so would like to know what you guys would expect in a situation like this.

    Did you find any tampering with the packaging?

      No was perfectly sealed apart from some crumpling on the bottom.

    I got mine - and all it does it make a tick, tick, tick sound - no decibel alarm at all.

    It's clearly a faulty product.

    I have called JungleJumble - but no one answers their phone.

    I have emailed them and messaged them via their website but no response.

    Will give them a few days to respond.

    In my view they should replace the item with a working model.

    So far not impressed with the lack of response.

      Yea they just stopped responding to me not really happy with that.

    Should we ask for refund from paypal?
    No wonder they made the handling fee more than the price of the product.
    Could we get that back from paypal?

    I finally received mine.

    Yes, the battery is dead.
    Not working at this moment.

    Agree it is crap!

    Jungle jumble contacted me.

    They are sending a replacement with thanks.

    Said that the issue I faced was unusual and could be just an electrical contact issue.

    Anyway thanks Jungle Jumble for following up.

    I will shop with you again knowing that you do provide reasonable follow up in a reasonable time.
