This doesn't appear to be a bargain. It's $14.95 @Tentworld on eBay ($13.90 eBay Plus) + delivery.
You're right @WatchNerd, Tentworld have matched the deal. With standard shipping costs it's likely still slightly cheaper on Knog.com depending on your location. Otherwise if you're doing Christmas shopping, spend over $100 and get free shipping on Knog.com.
That's not true, past sales show it was this price last month - Black, Grey.
Just letting members know you are also the rep for Reid Bikes & have been caught sockpuppeting twice.
My mistake, I didn't look at their sales history and didn't realise (we certainly haven't been selling it below $49.99 - the RRP). The fact is, as a brand we sell our products direct, and through valued retail partner like Tentworld - who are free to price our products how they like. We're stoked if you choose to buy Knog from either of us. Either way, this is a great product for the price - and it is a bargain at this price.
Thanks for sharing @watchnerd. For the record, I did work for Reid Cycles over 6 years ago - I haven't been associated since. This is the first deal I've posted on behalf of Knog, whom I have declared my association with and can confirm that despite other retailers selling the Quokka at a great discounted price as you pointed out, it's the first time we've dropped it to $15.
I appreciate your support of this forum and effort to maintain its integrity. I am doing my best to adhere to rules and regulations and share deals that I think members would appreciate.
$13.90 + $9.70 postage on eBay plus - so directly saves ya 60c. Bargain :)
80 lumens for $23 (inc postage)? That's a no from me.
There are certainly better lumen for dollar headlamps out there @dust - hundreds in fact. While we do out best to compete at that level, Knog's form and function is why people may choose us over another option. e.g. USB rechargeable, IP65 water resistance rating, integrated USB connector for charging (cable free), ultra lightweight (48 grams), single-piece silicone strap which makes for an incredibly comfortable fit.
Knog shouldn't be undercutting their retailers. It's a scumbag move
That title is making my head in
