MacBook Pro 2019 Second Hand Price?

Hi guy,

Just need help with pricing for a second hand Macbook Pro 2019. My work is selling their old laptops.

The spec is:

MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019
2.3 GHz 8-Core i9
32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
AMD Radeon Pro 5500M 4GB
1TB Storage

Does anyone know how much this machine would cost second hand?

Depends on how quickly they want to shift them, $2k would be a reasonable price though for that spec if in good condition (battery good and no cosmetic issues).

$1500 they'd be gone in no time. One of the few macs to devalue quickly were the last gen intel but they're still really good laptops. Would have been over $4k for that spec.

Being a late model, Apple has refurb stock for $3,079. Then I'd check Cashies to get a feel for street price - $2,395.

This is the last good MacBook which can run Bootcamp/Windows.
So I'd wager this particular unit will always carry a premium over other models like the 2018 or 2020 ones. But the 2021 models with the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips should be competitive. I saw a similar thing happen to the 2015 models (13in and 15in) since they had MagSafe, Ports, and the Butterfly Keyboard… where the newer models 2016-2018 aged worse and depreciated much quicker.
