Just a heads up, this appears to be the older model, which doesn’t have the fast charge for newer Apple Watches

    • how do we tell old or new?

      • +5
        By model number,

        Old: WIZ009AUWH
        New: WIZ017AUWH

        • yeah iwatch takes for ever to charge, i still got 2

  • Nice find op even for the older model.

  • I bought this for like $165 about a year ago on ebay. I ended up returning that one because it made a squealing noise at the powerpoint. I got a refund and bought a replacement from local JB for the same price (pricematched somewhere) and alas it also had a sqealing sound.

Got used to it. Overall its a great piece of gear if you have apple stuff. Good price at $150.

    • what type of squealing sound?

      • +1

very low noise, electrical sound. It wasn't by any means loud, but with this next to your bed at night when it's quiet, it is audible

          Coil whining?

          • @DrScavenger: I'm not sure, maybe. It was coming from the wall plug, not the unit. It was an oscillating sound, high pitch then low pitch… Repeating

  • Good deal. DigiDirect did a good job of packaging this when I ordered in the last deal for $154ish.

  • Is it 15w split between all 3 sites?

  • +1

have 1 already, paid $219 been meaning to get a few more, this makes it a no brainer, cheers picked up 2 more $300

  • Can this charge 2 phones at the same time and wireless earphones? my wife and I have pixel phones and we want to declutter the beside table.

    • Nah, if you had AirPods Pro you could.

  • I just checked the one I have, the wireless charging pad for the AirPods was still warm, despite nothing being charged there for the last 3 hours; (unit is plugged in to the wall). Anyone know if this is normal?
