You can't because the promotion is 1 redemption per receipt. So it will be $15 not $10

    • Actually no. At checkout I asked the same question and if there is a 2 for 1 price promotion eg. 2x 15 cans. You are eligable for 2 cards.

  • How does the gift card promo go? T&c?

  • Also on the Coke site, I don't see any redemption for 15 packs, only 24 packs.

    • Was definitely 15 packs, sure they wouldn't have 2x 24 cans for $20.

  • How do you claim for the redemption if there isn't a page to redeem it. Post?

  • Wait is this for the flybuy gift card or the Coke site redemption?

  • +1

Can someone explain how this is done? I had a look through the catalogue and can't see a special or anything on 2x15 can packs. How do you get this deal exactly?

  • +5

    Not a deal for me.

The redemption offer isn't applicable for the 15 can blocks. This makes the deal $20 for 30 cans and therefore not cheap enough.

The conditions for the $5 redemption (from Coke's website) are:

For your chance to claim a $5 EFTPOS card, purchase any specially marked 24 x 375ml pack of DIET COKE or COKE ZERO, keep the barcode from the bottom of the pack, along with your purchase receipt, and fill in the details below.

Incidentally, the $5 redemption offer is actually pretty good if you can get a good deal for a 24 can slab (I got mine for $15 at Woolworths on 2 June)

If only it came with free dental! Coke will eat your teeth away :/

    • Looks like the fun police have arrived. What next? Fluoride in water is a covert form of government mind control?

      • +2

I used to be concerned that the government was controlling my mind through fluoride in the water, but now I don't worry about it any more - the government is ever so helpful and wouldn't do that…

    • +1

Yes they should put fluoride in coke in Australia. That's what they have back home where I'm from

  • i heard from sources that coles are going to sell 3x24 packs for $40, you may also get some of the diet/zero boxes having the 5 dollar redemption gift card.

  • Just bought a 15 pack of Coke cans for $11 from Woolworths (30% off). The 15 can packs do not come with one of the $5 gift cards, so the deal should be $20 for 30 cans (66c per can).

    Coles - $20 for 30 cans (2x 15 packs, 66c per can)
    Woolworths - $11 for 15 cans (73c per can)

For the love of god, someone please explain how this deal works and what this gift card is about??

  • +1

    Deal dynamics does not work

  • It seems to olny be on Diet Coke and Coke Zero according to my local Coles

  • +1

Gift card card promotion wont work on 15 block can or normal coke, only on 24 can coke zero and diet coke.

  • Woolworth has 2x30 cans, for $36. $0.6 per can

I think the OP is mistaken. The rebate is for the 24 can bricks. Until Tuesday you can get 2x24 bricks of Diet or Zero Coke for $30. With the $5 EFTPOS card rebate, this brings the price down to $10 per brick, which is as good as the Pepsi deals. I can confirm this because I bought 2 bricks today and also submitted my rebate application. You need to hang onto the receipt number by the way.

However it seems that this coming week you can get 3 bricks for $40 at Coles, which brings the price down to $25 for 3 or $8.33 per brick. I wish I had waited.

  • According to the Terms and Conditions printed on the actual 24 pack of Coke Zero I bought, it states that you can only get one $5 eftpos card by redemption per transaction, which means if you buy (as I did - grr) 2 x 24 packs for $30, you can only get ONE $5 card by redemption, making the net price $25 for 2 x 24 packs, or 52c per can (for those keeping score).

    Hope that helps.

And it is only for Diet Coke and Coke Zero

There is a separate (not sure of details though) promotion with a 25% off voucher inside some specially marked Coke 30packs, but the 25% off voucher is only valid on some 1.25L packs, or somethign like that. Sorry to crap out on the detail now!

    • I'm not so sure about that interpretation. The T&C on the website says, in part:

      […]
To participate and be eligible to claim a Gift, Eligible Claimants must, during the Promotion Period:

      (a) purchase any specially marked 24 x 375ml pack of Diet Coca-Cola or Coca-Cola Zero (Eligible Product), and each purchase is a Qualifying Purchase;
      […]

Nowhere does the word redemption appear in the T&C. On the brick it says "1 per transaction". But that's only natural as you can only enter one barcode each round. The second time I entered (the same barcode was on the second brick, and I suspect lots of other bricks), it asked me if I wanted to use the same delivery address.

There is an overall limit of 5 per address but that's not the issue here.

I think what prevents people from copying the barcode off the bricks is the receipt number which they can match against the supermarket sales.

      • Just finished spending both of the $5 EFTPOS cards that I received from this offer. I bought when 2 slabs were $30, so making it effectively $20 for two.

        http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/71571

Maybe I was lucky but no issue was raised about both claims coming from one receipt. Of course this is moot as the prices of slabs are no longer on special.

Where is the rumour about next weeks Coles special? I don't want to count on this rumored special and miss out on this weeks 2x24 deal at the same time…
