It seems like Hawaiian Airlines is adding new routes at a pretty quick rate, and it’s not just between the islands and the mainland either. They’ve got plenty of international routes, and now it sounds like they’re ready to add one more. Hawaiian Airlines is sending some more planes down under, as the plan is to link Honolulu with Brisbane beginning on November 27.
The flights will do their thing three times per week in the fall, and all the flying fun will be aboard the carrier’s Boeing 767-300ERs. They’re actually the only airline based in the nifty fifty to offer nonstop service over to Brisbane, which is good news if you need to add a stop on your around-the-world itinerary.
This may mean a promotional price from Brisbane to Hawaii. Hawaaian Air seems a bit more expensive than Jetstar but we'll see. No mention on their website yet.
EDIT: Why I think they may do a special price is because they did a promotional fare ($212/OW) when they started flying direct from NY last year.
