So I order Pizza Hut and Dominos probably once every week or two. I don't mind tipping $1-3 because it's really no biggie for me and minimum wage is BS. I'd give you cash in the hand but I just want to know, do you guys actually get the tips or does dominos charge you a $2 "processing fee" for each tip you receive for example?

dominoes either casual / part-time / full-time wages
uber depends on the job you fetch
On average I suppose.. say you worked a week in each one with similar hours in the CBD (where orders are likely to be constant), which one is likely to be higher?
Considering dominoes they get a vehicle allowance, super, award wage and minimum shift lengths I can't imagine Uber delivery drivers would ever get more. Dominoes will supply a scooter as well (some stores supply cars) so you're not trashing your own car.
Uber gives you flexibility, that's the whole appeal. You can choose to just do deliveries on a Friday night between 7-9pm and you likely earn more per hour, but there's no reliability to it. If someone wants extra cash then ubereats works, for people who want 15-20 hours a week regular income then dominoes makes way more sense.
Just tip them with eneloops.
Why not tip them with cash, that way you know it 100% goes to them?
Well, if the answer to OP's question is "I get it all", then: convenience.
Surprised that you think that minimum wage is BS considering:
From 1 July 2022, the national minimum wage is $21.38 per hour
The driver can deliver pizzas and make $813 per week literally riding a scooter to your house and dropping a pizza off.. based on your post how much a week should a delivery driver make dropping off pizza?
No uni or tafe education and no skill involved at all but they should be paid what a $1000 a week to deliver pizza… get real!Just curious what you believe a fair wage for delivering pizza should be?
I believe the current minimum wage is more than enough to cover an 18 year old delivering pizza.
Nobody's getting paid $1000/wk to just deliver pizza. Peak times are maybe 2-3 hours a day?
Edit: That's not to say your comment on the minimum wage isn't fair. Just that nobody is getting $1000/wk to only deliver pizza.
I would assume a delivery drive for say dominoes is on a payroll and is paid by the hour? I don’t think dominoes treat their drives like Uber eats and pay per delivery?
Sure but they're casual. Often working very short shifts.
I know Pizza Hut has paid per delivery in the past. Don't know if they still do. I'd be curious if anyone can answer that.
Delivery driver here. I'm busy looking for my 6th investment property from your fat ass tips.

Tipping? Your bring the Ozb community to shame.
It was about 98% of the amount
If only they got $1.50 tip for every job, they'd be rich!
Slightly off topic, but now that you mention it, I wonder who makes more - Uber delivery or dominoes delivery? (And if Uber makes more, why don't dominoes drivers just do that instead?)
