  • I just tried it and it didn't work. Said I have to have a US credit card.

    • Pretty sure that is a requirement for Amazon App Store, there are tutorials on how to register.

If you really like this app, bypass the Amazon Store. Do the following:

    1. Google the apk file and download to your computer.
    2. Copy it to the download folder in your phone.
    3. Install it using Astro File Manager.

This is the easiest way to install an apk. The downside is that if there is an update, you'll need to download and install the latest version of the apk again.

    • Pretty sure discussion of illegally obtaining software isn't permitted…

Uuh, pretty sure that making declarative statements about "illegality" of something that's legal (but more irksome) is defamatory.

The difference between me being "pretty sure" about the defamation angle, and you being "pretty sure" about whatever you were gibbering about, is that I have access to someone who knows what the law says.

Usual disclaimer applies: the "law" is just what some bunch of scumbag parasitic politicians agrees on, and should be ignored if it's not consistent with individual liberty… e.g., it was illegal in Victoria to be gay until 1989 [I'm not remotely homer-sexual - not that there's anything wrong with that - but it shows that law and right are often diametrically opposed. Disobey a stupid law today!].

You, mate, are an idiot. Explain how obtaining a copy of the software via a 3rd party that isn't legally allowed to distribute said software isn't a breach of copyright? Whoever created the "law" is irrelevant, if you break it there are consequences, whether you like it or not.

        • Just because Amazon won't sell you an app over the Internet in Australia does NOT mean that it is illegal for an Australian to have or get a copy by other means. Eg. Fly over to the US and get it for free (as offered by Amazon) then fly back.

Your mistake is to assume that if the Amazon website does not permit you to do something it is then illegal. This is just not true.

Today Amazon are offering this for free (purpose of this post) so why not get it from them by whatever means you can.

        • What? That has nothing to do with anything…

  • WTF.. my reply to someone got posted as an original comment. That's retarted but this is the only way I can baleet it.

For verily as it says in the Book of Vanilla Ice: If there was a problem, Yo, I'll solve it! Check out the hook while my DJ revolves it.

    Yeah, that's right.
