There is a 24hr Flash Sale which gives a bonus Galaxy Buds2 Pro (Bora Purple) for free. Stack this with the bundle deal (buying 4 eligible items gives you a 20% discount on the bundle) will bring the total price (including Care+) down to 2333.44. If you could sell the buds for $200/each on Gumtree, the 1TB Fold 4 with Care+ will be only $1533.44.

For the same items, the total price is $2,986.60 in the normal store. Since the normal store is giving a $700 trade-in bonus, plus the loyalty vouchers, it would end up with $2,986.6 - $700 - $100 = $2186.6 or $2136.6 if you are able to receive the subscription voucher.

      The article was published 4 months ago before they start to sell fold 4. I believe they had reduced the production for fold 4 then.

      • Either way, the article refers to the mid series aka A series. Don't see how it would be relevant for the flagship stuff for Samsung.

    A big IF with selling the buds on Gumtree for $200, might be better off waiting for Black Friday sales.

      Don't really think they would reduce further. Even if you sell these earphones for 150 each, 1700 for the latest 1TB fold phone is still not a bad deal.

    • Its probably not that hard to sell them at that price. The Buds2 Pro is only 2-3 months old at this point and retails for $350.

  • If someone looking to buy, do compare the price on normal samsung online store as same offer is available and you can stack bonus trade-in offer with it. Haven’t done the math today, but in past at times it came out cheaper on normal online store with bonus trade-in offer, and using $100 loyalty and $50 subscription vouchers.

    No way youd be able to sell those at $200 the market is full of these brand new.

    Better to do a trade in deal for the Fold to get it for about $1400

      I had to buy them from the shop because there were very few buds2pro on Facebook marketplace on sale (Vic). The ones that were on sale were close to RRP.

        • Maybe that's true. But from my previous experience with the last generation Buds pro, I am happy to buy it for 200 myself if I wanted to upgrade.

    Beware ordering off the Samsung store. I ordered my Fold 4 on the 12th August and to this day they still cannot tell me where my phone is or when i'm going to get it.

                • @emblurr: Exactly. The bank will likely refund you if you don't receive the products and Samsung can't provide the POD. If they shipped the item out already, you might be lucky enough to receive the refund and the device.

(Found their employees on linkedin and most companies use an email format of [email protected]) She gonna track it down and find it, hopefully.

                      @emblurr: Good to hear!

                      I work in the logistics industry, and from my experience, most of these cases were caused by their 3rd party warehouse or the delivery company. The warehouse might have shipped the product out but maybe put the wrong label or missed the order in the warehouse before dispatch. That's why Samsung's customer service can't give you an update if the 3rd party warehouse can't provide them with the answer. But anyway, the right thing Samsung should do is to refund you or place a new order for you and deal with the warehouse/shipping company themself.

                        @sd5834928: You are correct. The original one was at Startrack Tullamarine on 6th September.. They told me it had my name and someone else name and a different address than mine. They tried calling Samsung and couldn't get a response, so they sent it back to Samsung NSW. Where it has been in limbo since.
                        [email protected] and the phone numbers all go to centres in Philippines. They don't have any powers, they couldn't even cancel my order. They don't have contacts, emails to the escalation people in Sydney. All they can do is submit escalations and say sorry. Anyway, shake enough trees and eventually they right apple falls out.

        Once you place an order on any Samsung online store, you can’t cancel it. You have to wait for it to be delivered, and then return and then wait for another 1-2 months for refund to hit your card/account. So always think not twice but thrice before placing the online order

          • @AirJordan23: No it isn’t. You can trade in but you don’t get any bonus over and above the trade in value of your device. Plus you can’t use loyalty voucher on edu store.

      • Yeah it's great. Came from normal Iphone 12. The cover screen is narrower than iphone obviously but the main one is huge. It's not as heavy or bulky as I thought. Very convenient fingerprint scanner and USB C charging. Even connects to external monitors and USB drives

    • It expired after 1 month or maybe 3 weeks.

    • I think it will only be valid for 7 or 10 days. Need to reapply after that.

    Strongly recommend NOT buying a Fold from Samsung - my inner screen died, and warranty refused because of cosmetic damage on the frame.
    Deciding now whether to pursue through QCAT…

      They didn't have any issue for screen
      But i also had flip 2 and 3
      They always had inner screen issues but free to change it in 2yrs.
