[Pre Order, Refurbished] Onexplayer Mini 512GB with Ryzen 7 5800U US$599 (~A$937) Delivered @ Onexplayer

50

Hello
Onexplayer mini with ryzen 7 5800u refurbished are back in stock for US$599 for the 512gb version and $669 for the 1 tb version.

I ordered mine last month and paid for us$669 or AU$1000 for the 1 tb. Process time was super slow but Shipping was super fast via FedEx and I have been using the device for a last few days.

Mine was a brand new unit with all the original packaging and plastic shrink wrap and came with a free case.

It's a premium device and works beautifully for the game pass games I have been playing. This is a good alternative to steamdeck. Also a good fast computer (laptop alternative) if you want to use it as an everyday device.

Grab a bargain while in stock.

Please noted that the product is for pre-order currently. For the delivery time, we will start delivery on October 30th.

    So it's a pre-order for a refurbished machine?!

I guess it boils down to the delays in processing. I ordered mine on the 20th sept and order wasn't processed until 21st October, but then shipping within 3 days so received on the 24th.

Brand new device with plastic shrink wrap on original packaging. Smartphone style plastic wrap around the unit. Brand new exterior with 0 blemish. So I guess they take their time to ship a properly refurbished unit or these are old stock they are trying to clear in anticipation of the 6800u machines. Regardless it's a ryzen 7 machine with $1000 aud price tag, I am super impressed with my unit. Have been playing gamepass and free epic games I have accumulated over the years. In my opinion sweet spot is for the games released on PC during the 360/PS3 era and early PS4/xbone era. (2006-2015) These games have great controller compatability while running silky smooth 60fps at 1200p compared to older games with keyboard and mouse or newer AAA games with 30 fps 800p low settings.

I am playing dirt 3, arkhum asylum, borderlands 2 fallout 3 plus PS2 emulation and everything is flawless.

    • how is the battery life?

  • If that’s the Vega 8 core… it’s rather very dated.
Good for legacy games but the core is 4-5 years old I think, and it wasn’t a powerhouse when it came out.

Still useful of course, hopefully we get some RDNA2 or RDNA3 based APU soon.

Either that or maybe Intel will integrate its new graphics cores into a mobile chipset.

It would be nice to have something like what the steam deck uses but for general consumption.

    • Someone on YouTube has done a comparison of this and steamdeck and this can push most games with similar fps to steamdeck however at hight tdp so battery life is less. I reckon the beauty of this device is not the latest and greatest AAA but older and indie games.

      • It would be good for visual novels!

I will wait for steam deck. Maybe Q1 2023?

  • Import a steam deck instead.

dont think its better than a steam deck, but this is strange how steam consider Australia as a secondary country… I have my steam deck but want to order the deck dock, and i can't order in Australia…

Valve hates Australia, ever since the refund laws kicked in

Is there a chance of Steam Deck releasing in Australia soon?
Or is there a way to import one for not twice the price?
