Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: Student Monthly TL₺125.08 (~A$10.64), Standard Monthly TL₺187.62 (Expired, ~A$15.96) @ Adobe

490

Hello all,

Recently got myself a subscription to an Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Standard) on an annual basis and I wish to share it to you all.

A VPN is NOT required at all. The supplied link is already for Turkish region. Alternatively, you can go to https://www.adobe.com/international/selector/ and select Turkey. Proceed to purchase from this point on, the same way you would as if you were setting up a subscription based in AUS.

Your account may not work if you have already had an Adobe subscription purchased through Aus or any other region. You will need in that case to create another account.

All you need to do is to go the link and go ahead with the steps, I used my Revolut card (UK based) and it worked with no issues so I doubt that you will have any issues with AU issued cards. You might need to change your address to match it to a Turkey based address, but as soon as you set it up - you dont need to use a VPN to login or maintain your subscription.

There are no available promotions for an annual subscription other than the one time first year savings - to which you can easily negotiate a retention offer from Adobe. Otherwise, the offer will revert to Student Monthly TL₺187.62 (~A$10.64), Standard Monthly TL₺332.76 (~A$28.30)

Need something like this apple premiere

  • +1

Confirmed: worked with my bankwest platinum

  • nice, currently still on the $43 /month plan, will cancel it as its up for renewal in november.

    • On live chat, tell them it's too expensive and you're cancelling. They will give you 14-15 dollars discount and three months free.

      • On top of the $43/month?

$15.96 still works out way cheaper … especially tempting as no vpn trickery involved.

        • Yes. If you don't want to create another account.

  • What does this thing do???

  • So it's AUD16 for a yearly subscription to all adobe apps?

    • +5

      Standard Monthly

      • Ah, thanks. I bought a yearly subscription last year from Turkey for about $40 iirc. it runs out soon so I'm looking for another deal.

  • Photography plans also come out at about a third of the price compared to Australia which is pretty nice. 60 bucks a year for Photoshop and Lightroom is pretty reasonable I think

Does anyone currently on these Turkish plans know if there are any downsides to using a Turkish account for Adobe?

    • -1

Website tools are in Turkish if you use them.

      • You can change your language settings

No issues with my Photo plan. The programs on my phone and PC are all in english.

  • I’m just ticking over to get the $85 year uni rate that starts in November.

    • What deal is this?

  • +2

There's also the photography deal still running - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/679088

    "Photo plan (20GB)
    Contents:
    Lightroom
    Lightroom Classic
    Photoshop
    Photoshop Express
    Photoshop Camera
    20GB of cloud storage.

    ₺50.14 (A$4.26)/month - was ₺62.68 (A$5.33)/ month) for the first year
    or
    ₺601.66 (A$51.14)/year - was ₺752.18 (A$63.93)/year Annual, prepaid"

  • do they ask for a student verification after 1 year has lapsed?

  • +3

I get all adobe apps for free from my uni :)
    otherwise great deal!

  • If you are a student check with your school (or State Government Education Department) first. Most already have contracts with Adobe and students can get it free already and don't know it (or haven't been told)

Same with Microsoft stuff. Students can get WIndows 11 for free. This is a new license, not just an upgrade from 10.

    • What about faculty staff? Any idea if that's a thing?

  • I was able to subscribe but it complained about student account not being compatible with enterprise. It billed me for the 125lyra but every app is "try or buy".

    Im confused now.

  • Might be a fluke but when I logged in using my current Adobe account (expired sub), it spat me out the AUD pricing but the moment I used a Gmail alias (directs to my normal email), it gives me the discounted price.

    • I think if you have purchased a subscription with Adobe, it permanently locks your account to the region.

I logged in with my previously subbed Australian account. I forget if it asked to redirect regions upon logging in, but I know when I went to enter my CC details and I changed the country to Australia, it wanted to redirect me to the Australian page. Left the country as turkey and managed to sign up successfully. Getting welcome emails from Adobe in English too

      • Yep thats what happened when I logged in with my existing account. I guess I can try and see if it accepts the Gmail alias email trick, or I can just use another email account I have.

        • This did occur to me when I was trying to sign up. I did manage to force it to be turned into TKY through repeatably changing my region.

If worse comes to worst and if you do have a VPN. Try to see if that might fix anything.

          • @AircraftFreight: Yeah being on a VPN and changing your region multiple times to Turkey doesnt work as at the checkout page, it recognises your saved card details and defaults to AU pricing even if the region is set to Turkey.

Looks like ill use the alias option and set the billing country to Turkey to create a new account.

  • Something to be wary of if you are buying this for a business, adobe reserves the right to send in auditors to go through your PCs and check licenses are correct etc. Check the EULA or whatever it is. It’s wild.

    • maybe im under thinking it, but just put it under a personal name?

  • Why does it redirect to an apple sign in page?
Does it need to be purchase via Apple?

  • +1

hi reporting in, the email i originally used was not a gmail so cant do alias trick.
had to set up new account but added my aus account and phone back in as the contact details and seems to have charged thruogh fine - $16.39 tho for me due to fees

  • Did anyone face an issue with the billing address? My bank is rejecting the transaction when I use a Turkey address in checkout

  • +1

I just got the Student Monthly TL₺100 , because now they have the black Friday offer aswell. Paid with Wise card.

  • Thanks op, worked for me, too.

  • seems like it doesnt work anymore. On the billing screen when I change my cc to australia, it reverts to australian pricing. It doesn't accept it when it's left in turkey.

    • Worked for me just now. Entered my NAB Visa Debit card. After switching regions to AU and logging into my Adobe account, seeing "₺187,62/mo Next payment on Feb 5, 2023".

      • what browser are you using? i tried 2 different debit cards. Did you leave the payment select on turkey for your debit card?

        • Using Chrome with uBlock Origin ad blocker (unsure if that makes a difference). Yes, I left the payment on Turkey so will cop the international transaction fees.

  • Thanks OP, Worked with my UP Card.

  • Thanks OP. Worked with citibank with Turkey selected. Bankwest didn't work though 🤷‍♂️
At today's rate it was $113.79 for the annual. So only aud$9.48/month

  • I go through all the steps, enter all the information and final step hit the 'Accept and Subscribe' and it does the 'loading circle thing' as if it's processing but then just clears and I'm back to the same 'Accept and Subscribe' page.

Issue is that my Google Pay pops up saying that the money has been completed but there is no email confirmation or account confirmation screen or anything.

Anyone else having a similar problem? Any ideas how to fix?

I first tried in a Chrome Incognito window and had the issue, so I downloaded Firefox and used that, same trouble.

  • Thanks OP. Worked fine with my Commbank CC.
If you go straight to cancelling your subscription, it'll offer few better discounts or couple months for free (with refund of what you already paid as well).

    • Hey mate, I tried using my CBA card, but i got some error message. Did you keep the country Turkey?

      • Hey Jaykrisx2, I kept it as Turkey. Although, I did use the ultimate awards cc which may have to do something that is considered an international transaction.

        • Still not working for me. Tried all my cards. May be they have patched the loophole.

  • So I signed up because of a new Firefly feature they have on Photoshop… now I went to go try it… and it's throwing me an error saying I have to be over 18… did some deeper research and since I signed up for the student version… they mark your account as under 18… and the only way to change your birth year is to contact customer support… any help?

      From Adobe:

Thank you very much for your patience.

Sign out and sign back in to both the Creative Cloud Desktop app and the Photoshop (beta) app
Log into Behance with your Adobe ID and enter your Date of Birth.

If you sign in using social sign-in (Apple, Google, and Facebook), ensure that your date of birth in that account is set to public instead of private.

Once your Date of Birth is up to date, relaunch the Photoshop (beta) app to enable Generative Fill.

  • Does this still work at all? Tried signing up online but no luck

  • Didn't work for me, tried a Citi, CBA and Revolut card, and a VPN too… couldn't get it work. patched?

    • think so, used 3 cards
