I don't bother with the Dunlopillo anymore. Last time I got one of the soft ones in medium profile, it was like a child's pillow….so low, not like they used to be. Ever since then I have gone to TLC Pillows, so much better quality and they have regular sales

      Did anyone use this before?

      THE STOP SNORE PILLOW

      https://www.tlclatexpillows.com.au/stop-snore-medium-profile…

      • +2

Yes, they suck. There is no such thing as a pillow that stops snoring, all it does is give you a sore neck

        • +3

That's how it stops you snoring, you'll be in so much pain you can't sleep for the next 3 nights

        • The only way to open up the airway is to tilt your head back, and to get into that kind of position, those pillows are going to be low, and your neck will most likely be sore in the morning. There’s simply no way around that.

      • a pillow that supports the feeling of being on your back while actually allowing you to sleep on your side would be most effective since the tongue can't rest and block your airway causing snoring, most of the time anyway.

But yeah, haven't seen a pillow that magically stops snoring yet, its all about position

    • Likewise, always have to fold it to get enough height. And then it becomes hard and uncomfortable

Haven't tried TLC Pillows, but agree that Dunlopillo pillows aren't as good as they used to be.

    • When you say "they have regular sales", I note that the Low and Soft pillow is RRP$139, on sale for $95 right now.

I also note, that all of those similar pillows are on "sale".

Is that the type of sale you're referring to? If so, it doesn't seem like a genuine one. Reminds me of a Kathmandu-type sale.

      • they do sales regularly, but you never know how much it will be. I got the High soft ones for about $80 each mid this year (roughly) plus free shipping, not to say that they will ever be that low again (due to inflation), but you never know what the sales will be. In saying that…they are MUCH better quality than Dunlopillo now) Outside of sales, they are normal price

Ever since I bought one of these I'm a millionaire. Thanks barefoot investor!

  • Great pillows, but they lack the perfect mix, being medium height/high firmness. They do high/high, high/medium, medium/medium, medium/low. Then again I am likely odd, as TLC don't make my ideal combination either.

I like the TLC high and soft ones, but if that is too high the Medium soft ones are good too

If you’re looking for the perfect pillow, Harvey Norman has loads of these premium latex pillows (heaps of Tempur models too). You can try them all and find the one that fits you best. Obviously wait for a sale, but it’s a good way to work out what you need. One size does not fit all when it comes to latex or memory foam. If you sleep on one the wrong size you’ll have a really bad time.

But then you would be sleeping on something from Gerry

Then buy it elsewhere. Just go there to try.

  • Thanks OP, tried to order one. Hopefully they ship it this time.. tried ordering with the same deal back in Aug and they cancelled it due to “no stock”.. fingers crossed this time around!

Damn these are good pillows, got 2 from HS about a year ago for half price and it was such an improvement from the gel ones they sell which are always mysteriously $30, down from $180.

  • Still waiting for a good deal on a Tempur pillow.

  • +3

Bought it during the last deal. It's pretty good, feels comfy, but nothing life changing. I wouldn't pay more than this deal price.

  • I've gone through so many pillows and my favourite is still the Tempur medium contour pillow. Stiff but supportive and gives me a great night sleep. My Dunpillo was just too bouncy and low which gave me a sore neck in the morning.

  • I bought a memory foam pillow from eazybuy years ago. They used a third party to make the product. I haven't found one like it. I get a crook neck sleeping on a normal pillow. I don't like those S shaped suggested neck pillows

I loved Dunlopillo's first album, but can't really get into Future Nostalgia.

I both the IKEA Klubsporre pillow a couple of weeks ago and have never slept better. It’s memory foam and has a cooling pad on top - $75 was a big investment for me with regards to pillows, but it was so worth it and wish I did it years ago. I no longer wake up with a sore neck and getting annoyed at night because my previous lighter weight pillows had shifted. I love it!

    • I'll be in Adelaide at the end of the year. I might buy one of these to try
