Hey folks,
Just want to give a bit of a shoutout to the following communities, and suggest people search in these places to acquire the following titles that are no longer available for sale and haven't had online server support for nearly a decade each. Also the best locations for tech support on these titles, as they're designed for 32 bit Windows XP.

  Used to play heaps of 1942 with the DC/DC Final mods at LAN parties back in the day. Heaps of fun.

  Awesome stuff! Last month I was feeling nostalgic and reainstalled 1942 from a cd! Pretty keen to give this a go and see if I can connect to any servers. I played a shite load of DC back in the day

  Is anyone in Australia playing the patched (sans-Gamespy) versions, because as far as I knew anything older than BF4 is dead here? I'm guessing you have to play US and Europe servers.

    Hey man, I've actually just started running some COOP servers for 1942 and Vietnam, with the intent of eventually making the 1942 one a modded COOPTDM/COOPCTF server. There's also an Aussie conquest server and a Singaporean COOP server in BF2.
