Best Valued Modem for Naked ADSL2+

Hi, I'm thinking of switching to Naked ADSL2+ and need a modem.

I was wondering if I need a different modem rather than one I use for cable internet and if I do, what is the best one available on the market for the cheapest price (this being OzBargain and al :))

    and could I use my Linksys E1500 as a modem (really noob in this area)

    No you can't use your cable modem and no you can't use your E1500.

    Although anything should work I'd advise against getting something too low quality. You do need to decide if you want the model to provide wifi/networking/other or if you are just going to connect it straight to your E1500.

    Personally I stick with Netgear or Linksys.
