      Doesn't seem to be great deals at the moment. The Coles gift Mastercards are 10% off (e.g. $250 card for $231.30 including activation fee). You may need to buy gift cards somewhere with it to use multiple, doesn't always work online for gift cards, but should in store.

      If you use those it would reduce the price a bit, but the best offers are when there's a good ebay coupon than works on Big W or a Big W sale on the OLED combined with an okay ebay coupon. If you're really lucky a Big W sale combined with a good ebay coupon would be the dream.

      There also may be various deals around for Black Friday next month.

          Not sure about historical prices for these editions vs regular box copies on the collectors market, but it seems based on a few mins of searching, people just want the games

    My first Pokemon game since the OG back on Gameboy. Looking forward to playing with my daughter now, I went with Violet as that's her favourite colour and well, motorcycle Pokemon. Gotta catch 'em all!

        Haha nope, but that's ok. Just walking around My Little Pony keeps the kids happy so actual gameplay can be forgiven. For ~$50 it's cheap thrills entering in to something they don't know any better of.

      I never get pre-ordered games on launch day any more from Amazon. I don't get it… I ordered something from Amazon a couple of weeks ago and it was delivered the following day. Why can't they ship pre-ordered games to everyone on the day before launch day?

      Same here. Just chatted with Amazon support and explained the inconvenience of being told of a 1 month delay on the day of delivery, even though the order was placed a month ago - defeats the whole purpose of pre-ordering, especially now that even HN doesn't have it on special.

      They offered a $10 promotional credit as an exception, but were able to increase that to $20 as I asked to escalate to manager/team leader. ymmv
      Just checked my account and $20 credit shows up in the checkout.

        Same delay with mine. Though I've contacted support now and all they did is now charge my credit card and said it will arrive in 3-7 business days…. The audacity. No credit whatsoever, even after asking for some compensation. Think i'll just cancel it…

        **Update, in the end I said I would cancel and was offered $5 credit. I said I would want it cancelled still and was put to another agent. That agent could not provide anything further and just cancelled the order anyway… Not great.

    Mine still hasn't shipped, says 21-22 Nov. Probably the last time I preorder from Amazon… even though it was cheap. At this point would rather pay a little more and get it on the day. I am in Canberra thought it would have got here before Perth but there ya go!

      From experience, you need to preorder super early to get it on release day so they can allocate stock accordingly. You are guaranteed the cheapest price from when you order til when it ships, and you can also cancel any time within that too if you end up changing your mind.

      My friend ordered on 20th Oct, received it on release day 18th Nov

      I ordered 21st Oct, received 20th Nov.

        I get that, but with that example I ordered mine on October 20th too and no sign of shipping. They took the money for it on Friday so I assumed they would send it then at least but nothing.

          Mine was sent on Sat and Received Sun. 21-22 Nov means at latest you'll get it tomorrow.
