Hi Ozbargainers,
Ethical question… So i ordered a PS5 game via Amazon (FIFA23) on October 4th… got the notification saying it has arrived (5th October)… I went to check mailbox (apartment block) and it wasn't there, checked where they leave big parcels drop off area… it wasn't there… So I contacted Amazon… they were pretty great about the situation… said sometimes delivery drivers accidentally click "delivered" on the system when loading into the van… it might be delivered the next 48 hours… So i waited 48 hours checked everything and it wasn't there… contacted Amazon and no questions asked, they sent a replacement which arrived the very next day.
15 days later…. i get an email from my building manager and said I have a parcel for you that was delivered to the wrong building (block A and block B same address same unit numbering system eg. A101 and B101 and same street number and street name… stupid I know), owner of same unit number but block B have been away for a month and found the parcel as it was delivered to the wrong block…
Should I contact Amazon and return it?
