Reccomened Me a Bluetooth Speaker/Soundbar for TV

Well I've just bought a large TV now due to limited space I'm undecided if I want a Bluetooth sound bar behind where I'll be sitting or if I'm doing that is it crazy to simply run a large Bluetooth speaker.

I have about 950mm window ledge I can put a speaker.

I don't really have the space to run a sound bar in the conventional space under a TV.

You don't want a bluetooth speaker connected to TV due to latency (it's why most game consoles don't support it). Unless you just meant "wireless" speaker.

Bluetooth speakers are fine for music audio as there's no need to sync to what's on-screen.

    • I have some big bluetooth speakers connected to my TV and they sound great. Connected over the AUX input. The only issue is the speakers don't have a remote so I can't control the volume without getting off my can.

  • Some bluetooth speakers sync up fine, like my ones with aptX. My soundbar doesn't have it though and is totally out of sync on bluetooth

  • Actually thats not a bad point. I pretty much just had a quick play with a speaker I had laying about to check proof on concept. I spose it's not crazy hard to run a a longer HDMI cable to sound bar arc port.

Wireless speakers would also be fine ideally any form of wireless speakers that are easy enough to sync up with tv. I feel like I'm going to re arrange the room this arvo.

Stock speakers are not bad it's not like this is my main tv.

    Thats huge!!!!!

Using a panasonic with arc port and wireless subwoofer, great fit for 55 inch TV, more than adaquate for TV and a movie of 2.

    • sorry i should state that where i want speaker is oppsite end of the room.

  • What's your budget?

  • Ive decided to steal up stairs jbl sound bar with surround speakers. I stole it yesterday, ill prolly buy a cheap set of upstairs sooner or later
