    Just a personal experience from the last sale, their customer service is pretty atrocious. Had a problem with the delivery which made me contact them back and forth for nearly a month. Just recently (early october) got my order from the last sale in August.

    Some people just make it their mission to break and annoy people so everyone misses out. Same with the dell deal and now here. You're not a family or friend of a loreal staff member, maybe stay in your lane and not alert them to your presence. Now everybody misses out.

        People are calling Lancome repeatedly about the sale. The sale isn't exactly opened to the public. It's by invite just like estee lauder. Someone spoke to them and mentioned the code and mentioned ozbargain and now it doesnt work.

          Again, it wasn’t mentioned in the post that this was a private sale and that the code wasn’t meant to be public knowledge. Perhaps if the OP had mentioned that, and to keep it on the DL, people wouldn’t have freaked the F out when it wasn’t working.

      I would’ve flown to Melbourne if they still had these sales - I just can’t justify spending so much on these products when I could save a fortune during these sales - which I’ve never been successful

        The Melbourne sales were hit and miss. You had to line up for at least 2 hours and by the time you got in, resellers who got there super early already sold out the good stuff and bought trolleys worth of product.

      i was in the sale at 7.00 got kicked out, called loreal was told 9.00am eventhough the email said 8.00am then called again told 9.30am and still at 10am cant get in.. so much time wasted

    This was a private sale for staff and their friends and family. It seems OP just guessed the code based off previous sales. As @sunnyc stated, because people called the company trying to find out why the sale wasn’t working and mentioned OzB (as mentioned by @sunnyc), it seems L’Oreal went into lockdown mode and changed the code because it wasn’t meant to be public knowledge. This isn’t the fault of anyone who called up or freaked out, because it wasn’t explained by the OP that the sale is PRIVATE.
    If what I’ve written is correct, don’t complain to L’Oreal, question why this wasn’t all disclosed in the post.

      Incorrect. Every Loreal sale has been a Friends and Family banner inclusive of the face to face sales out in Dandenong.

      So everything you wrote above is misinformation to say the least. Loreal did not go into "lockdown" mode.

          It was correct, but according to what I could glean from the T&Cs when I was trying to work out what the heck was going on this morning, you were only able to access the website if you were specifically invited by an “Authoriser”. In other T&Cs I found this morning, that were for the UK sale (which was more specific than the fairly vague one for this sale) you had to be invited by an employee (who got 20 invites) and pre-register your email address prior to the sale. Then you would receive the code closer to the sale. I don’t know how similar this F&F sale is to that, but with everyone’s inability to access the sale, and the site being down for so long, it seems after it was known people who weren’t invited were trying to access the sale, L’Oreal shutdown the site or changed the access. Whatever it is, there had been no announcement I’ve seen where they’ve issued an apology and said it should be available for everyone. So it seems it was never meant to be publicised.
          Anyway, @sunnyc seems to know the whole story, but has also chosen to be vague about it, instead of explaining what they know and why it’s not working, so people either know to wait for access, or leave it and not waste anymore time.
