Does anyone know what type of power adapter comes with this? Am hoping to get this for my parents who are in the UK but would need to be able switch the Australian plug out. Is it just a figure 8 lead?

Microsoft's EBay store don't offer it as an option when purchasing the Surface - can you buy the extended warranty later? If so, how and where? Looking at the link, I can't actually see how you can buy the EW separately from the Surface

@miruki: That's just for 12 months, and is more for theft and damage. Plus, I've never heard of them, and looking at their website, I can't see any addresses etc for service centres, so who knows where it would be sent for repairs. I'd rather have Microsoft's extended warranty.
@lina23: I'd also prefer MS extended warranty if it's available for eBay purchases. Hope there is a way.
@miruki: I didn't trust this xcover either. Fingers crossed for MS version. Most other companies try for the upsell.

Seriously I got my delivered just now within 24hrs fab service ..
We received ours yesterday. Unfortunately I can't seem to work out how to purchase extended warranty/advanced replacement etc.. Anyone figured it out?
Still waiting on our delivery. The tracking number provided does not work on Fedex website unless I select "Track by TCN". Then there are no details like scanned, onboard etc, only shows "in transit"
But on the order details, it shows postage service DHL. They said they will need 8-10 business days to investigate…
