The one and only Ozbargain meet up was in the city Botanic Park. They ordered dominos and played outdoor cricket etc.
How many people went to that? Was it a good turn out?

Found answers. Budget ~$35. No alcohol (but NOLA do good food anyway, and sell good whisky).

I know its little too late and November already, But can a another event be organized for SA in country side? very adventurous and my promise not a single person would leave unhappy. I'll cover any remaining costs.

What does an adventurous meetup entail?
I am planning watersporting, (waterskiing, kneeboarding, tubing, pool water polo etc)
Pretty certain not many (not all ofcourse) people would have done these sort a activities in past.
Sounds exciting! (And a bargain for $35pp!)
@dust: it wont be $35 per person, I'll be chipping some in to make it happen if people are down for it. Problem is
1. country side
2. pricing
Both can be easily mitigated if we can have 1 person with boat licence join us (OTHER THAN ME), and have like 13 people join us
Define "country side" too, as it still maybe closer to some metro inhabitants than the CBD….
