What about the other states? Honestly no one cares about Sydney, Melb or Brisbane! :D

    • Fincky, what state are you in?

      • +1

Click on his user name for his profile (Adelaide).

    • The 10.7 million inhabitants of those cities representing almost half the population of the country might disagree with you, Fincky.

but just think, he could get double the votes and people to his site? That's like twice as much! :P

        • Saying these are deals for Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane is misleading, considering the outlets mentioned are all over those States. That would cover a population of 17.5 million (3/4 of the country).

The outlets mentioned also have stores in other states. I don't know why they aren't included, perhaps it is the vendors themselves that have different transportation costs and price lists for the other (insignificant) states :)

More often than not, the specials are different in other states.

Are you the same Rep that posted yesterday? http://www.ozbargain.com.au/goto/72990

    • Hi GaelicAU,

      No affiliation to that post/blog…

Gage Roads All VArieties $37-38, maybe worth it. I'll +VE it for that post.

  • Guinness Draught $50 for 24 at woolworths WA

    • Wow - that's excellent. Do major chains ever reach that price over here in the east???

  • www.boozle.com.au is all you need to find cheap booze…

    • +6

I think this site offers a good alternative. Boozle is good when you know exactly what you want, but if you're after a good deal on 'any' beer, then this is good.

Yeah might wanna mention WA, we drink far more than those other girly states.

And you would save time just listing the various Bundaberg products on sale for Qld'ers

      Yeah might wanna mention WA…

      nobody cares…

    • Paying $10 for a beer at the pub instead of $4 doesn't mean you sandgropers drink 'more', you just spend more

+1 for the Bundy comment! :)

Anyone in WA, Gage Roads cartons are on sale @ BWS for $39.

What about Darwin up here in the NT? We don't have the highest percentage of alcoholics in Australia for nothing.

Coles have 12c a litre off.

Oh, sorry, that's not available up there either….

I understood the east is not as expensive as WA but if these prices are specials, then I stand corrected.

This year, I havent paid more than $40 for any cartons of James Boag Premium, Coopers Pale Ale or Crown Lager.

This is almost always from Dan Murphys. Prices of Corona usually moves from $42 to $46 and though I dont buy it, I havent seen it anymore expensive than this.

I bought a carton of Gage Roads Premium from Woolies the other day and its a grear drop imo. Cartons were going for $28 as they had a month left before out of date.

The till guy told me Woolies had bought Gage Roads and to expect sub $40 prices hereonin. I would take that with a pinch of salt, but id be happy to pay $40 for it.
