My old K-Bot Saturn SX1 stopped working and it cost around $800 to fix it, I am in market for a new one and looking for recommendations for a budget of $1200 max.
I was looking at Zodiac FX18 but not sure if this a good one.
pool is fiberglass and I think 8x4m approx.
Suggestions for New Robotic Pool Cleaner < $1200

I have a ‘Pool Cleaner II’ as well. Great little device. It lives in the pool virtually all year and runs whenever the pump runs. Really only gets pulled out when we are swimming. It has a mechanical system of gears that ‘randomly’ changes direction and gets all but the steps in our pool.
It was in the pool when we bought the house about 7yr ago and in that time I’ve replaced the tyres because it stopped climbing the walls. they are probably due again soon.
Occasionally it gets jammed up with a palm frond or dive toy, but it’s easy to fix. I usually notice after a day or two of it sitting in the same spot.
Is this the one you are talking about?
Yes. That’s it.
@Euphemistic: Thanks, Cant find where to buy online
That's the one.
There are two versions of the wheel treads - one for tiled pools and one for other surfaces, eg pebbleHey OP,
did you end up getting one?
Not yet :(
the FX18 looks like the most economical and has the most features.
i'm in the market for one as well. hopefully black Friday sales are good
Yes, getting mixed reviews for everything, will wait for BF sale too or unless something else pops up .
what do you think of zodiac
TBH no idea, thats the suggestions I am after.
Way over my budget .
i have an ebay code, that takes $120 off the purchase price…
i'm unsure whether it is single use… you might want to have a look if you have one..
i'll probably end up buying one with this code in a few days… i'll let you know afterwards if it can be reused if you dont have one.
Did you buy anything during BF sale
@Ehty: I bought a hayward tigershark QC XL
Feom pool and spa warehouse on ebay
Look at "The Pool Cleaner", it connects into the skimmer box so there is no need to worry about cleaning the unit, or extra electricity costs.
Costs around $800-$900 and ours is around 6 years old and operates without issue.
