Can I please get some recommendations for a BBQ cover that does not come apart in 6-8 months? I have had a couple in the last few years, one from Aldi and another from BBQ galore and none of them lasted more than 6 months, the BBQ is in full outdoors in the western facing sun in Sydney, so all the rains and all the sun.

May be better to make a pergola to cover it as most BBQ covers will not handle the full western facing Sydney afternoon summer sun very well.
I just using bunnings, replace annually.

$10ish for a cheapo
Or DIY one using a $20 tarp from Bunnings and maybe stitch yourself?
King Kong brand bbq covers are great. Very heavy and thick material.
https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=Kingkong&rh=n%3A5707522051&dc&…I bought a proper weber cover and it was just a disaster. Found out snails, slugs and cockroaches loved the protection it gave them and so they all crawled up the inside for a nap all over it.
Now i just leave the cover off and the bbq is fine.
Put it under roofing if you can.
