  • So, could I plug one into a 1000Mbps NBN link and then broadcast the signal 100km with this? Or are there a few other steps, as I suspect?

That sounds about right. You just need to contact the NBN. You can get in contact with them here

If you want a good deal, best to know about yachting.

  • Jeez, old PMs never die, do they.

ATM the best the NBN is offering is 30000km away - satellite. But I'm pretty sure there's fibre 25 km away.

I've just signed up with StarLink and it's great by comparison, but this could offer greater bandwidth and be used to service more people. Any tips are very welcome.

If you can stomach the cost, then the new 60Ghz designs based on Facebook Terragraph are better. Creates a mesh of very competitive wireless internet access. You can see more Here

Depends the size of the area you need to cover, and if you can get to a fibre backhaul link.

You can design your new ISP HERE it will tell you what you need, apparently I only need 2 of these LTU rockets.

    I…what is this?

    • Welcome Manny, you're about to become your own WISP. What a journey it will be!

  • WISP - Wireless ISP ?

Can we used this to buy a 1Gbs internet and share it with people ?

You could but Greg, that damn Greg, he keeps using 1Gbps of the airwaves and everyone else had to suffer with lagging.

  • So many acronyms. Is this a troll? (FD: I did 7 years in IT in the 2000's and I made it my personal policy to never speak in jargon to my clients)
