    Never saw "Feldschlößchen" Hefeweizen in Germany. Normally, Feldschlößchen is very famous for Malzbier (malt beer, non-alcoholic).
    They use the brand name Feldschlößchen for that beer now in Australia, I believe. If you have certain standards, it will not be that good, but try it. ;-)

    Looks like the Sapporo dark beer is brewed in Vietnam.

    If that's the case, it's just an inferior drink with a premium price, and nothing like the real Japanese Sapporo.
    Go get a can of Asahi instead, that's the real Japanese taste, not the bottle asahi.

  • Has anyone noticed the imported Stella cans in store lately?

  • Anyone got thoughts on the gin? Don't need anything fancy but just wanting to make sure it's not awful

      The Plum and Clementine gin is nice with Indian tonic, a slice of plum and a sprig of thyme.

      @TimR31: Found a review:

      […] it is a clear, classic gin rather than a syrupy liqueur, but that doesn’t mean those flavours aren’t apparent. The spice is nicely subtle, so doesn’t have the slightly overpowering, Yankee Candle, faux cinnamon aroma that some Christmas editions can have, and what surprised me the most is how clearly that clementine flavour came through at the end. It is surprisingly sweet, but not sickly, though it may be a bit much for traditionalists I guess.
      […]
      I can’t recommend this gin enough if you’re a fan of strong, sweet flavours.

      Sounds good except if you're not into sweet at all.
