  It's MiniLED so the local dimming makes contrast much higher than typical IPS. I bought 55" for my dad as he needed bright TV with wide viewing angle, as it's for a large room with a lot of windows. Blooming is minimal and not really noticeable during normal use due to some clever processing. Below statement from rtings sums it up pretty well:
  
  There's still some noticeable blooming, but it's not as noticeable with real content, and the TV tries to smooth out the backlight zones, turning on more zones than needed to show a sort of brightness gradient.
