Lowest price for this webcam since launch.
1080p 30fps.
which one is better? this or razer kiyo?
Defo this one instead of the razer
They're both the same resolution right? FullHD 30fps
That's right, fullHD@30fps
No brainer at this price if you need a WFH camera
Fyi horrible grainy quality. It is extremely poor compared to built in Mac camera or your phone cam. If you are in sunny room, it doesn't focus properly and you appear as a black blob.
That's not my experience.
Have you ever considered that you might just be a shadow person?
I partially agree with this post. While it is a solid 1080p camera its exposure control isn’t great, it’s auto colour balance is also not very good.
With good lighting it is fine, but it was fallen behind the capabilities of a 1yo MacBook camera for both of the above reasons.
I wouldn’t use it anymore except for the angle of the MacBook camera.
(Have owned a C922 for 2 years WFH 4-5 days a week, 2-6 hours calls per day)
FYI camera can't swivel side to side.
Any webcam in this price bracket that has a narrow FOV? the C922 has 78 deg which is okay, but I would love something equal to the narrowest setting of the Brio (i.e. 65 deg), or narrower.
Currently I use an old mirrorless camera as webcam with a 35mm lens, which gives around ~40 deg FOV. I like the output, but it is a hassle to set up (OBS software, dummy battery and tripod) so looking for a webcam that can replicate as close as possible.
just cut a hole in a piece of paper that is smaller than the lens
Pay with $50 GC then remainder with CC/debit and you can still get the $10
Would this camera be good for close ups like doing product demos?
Damn just bought this last week at jbhifi for 97.
Buy this and take this one back to jbhifi and get a full refund.
I would get one if I don't already have it
