The Iconic - Serious Delays

Hi All,

Anyone else having week long delays with shipments from Iconic?

Placed 2 orders last week. One finally delivered yesterday (from 3rd party) the other (Iconic furfillment) still yet to even be picked/packed.
3 recent returns. 1 refunded last night, the other 2 yet to be scanned as accepted and returned. They too have been over a week.

I've reached out to The Iconic on 2 occasions over the past two days and today been advised:

"Due to some technical issues at our Fulfilment Centre, the high demand of current sales have affected how quickly we are able to get orders shipped. We’ve been working to prioritise your order but unfortunately our team are still experiencing extended delays."

and…
"We aren’t able to advise at this stage an exact date by which you will receive your parcel, but we will continue to keep you informed as it progresses."

Obviously, standard company response… Not good enough!

Any one else having similar issues currently?

    I had a delivery from them last week, and it did some weird things before getting to me (although I wouldn't describe a week as serious delays). It went Mel->Syd->Sunshine West (VIC)->Syd->CBR. I imagine Auspost was response for the joyride rather them however.

  • It rained a lot in Sydney last week. Maybe that's holding things up.

  • In the case of the second order (referenced above) - it hasn't even been packed yet!

    This is the biggest issues. AP is a mess, I know… But this one hasn't even been shipped.
    Yes, understand the relationship with the fulfilment, but a week and the order is yet to be processed is very odd…

    Sounds like they're experiencing technical issues at their Fulfilment Centre.

  • Placed our last order October 8, it was 5 x t-shirts , arrived today I am in nsw

  • I only shopped online there once. But my experience was the same. Big delay from ordering to receiving and kind of email that there was progress or that it had shipped. Around like a week before I got the "it's on it's way" email..

    I purchased during a 40% off sale on the item so maybe that had something to do with it. Maybe they wanted me to get frustrated and cancel the order or something, because there is no good reason it takes that long to process and order and ship it.

  • I have not had any issues with The Iconic. In fact, my order late one Friday night was ready for collection at P/O the following Tuesday. Whilst I was annoyed Auspost automatically carded it for collection despite being sent with authority to leave, it was the fastest I have received goods (2 business days is very rare). I live in a rural area so same day/next day delivery is out of the question and parcels generally take 7-10 days most of the time. I find The Iconic very efficient at dispatching goods and appreciate the fact they send with ATL as I can't get signature parcels delivered.

  • I placed an order with Iconic on the 23rd of November and as of today (18th December) I still do not have a confirmed time of delivery. I receive an email each week stating I will receive an update within 1-2 days yet never do, other than the weekly delay email. I would never buy from Iconic again and urge others to do the same.

  • Order is in "Processing" status, but not sure how different that is to "Packing" would be good to hear if anyone else's orders have had updates in Status.

    Ordered around 18th December, but after reading the comments here, thinking I will probably never get my order.

  • My order for a hat was simply cancelled and was refunded.
