came up on quick google search for Audible Deal.

Amazon charged me $9.54 after conversion. not as good as free few months but still not bad

The premium audiobook site normally costs $14.95 a month to subscribe, but right now, Amazon is offering four months of Audible Premium Plus for just $5.95 a month. The deal saves you a whopping 60% off the regular price and gets you instant access to Audible’s huge library of content.

  • Does this link to amazon au account.

    • Yes, it links to your existing AU account

  • Thanks OP. I'm right at this moment looking to sign up to Audible.

Just did a few searches to compare with AU prices. Seems Audible Premium isn't called that in AUS.
Maybe AUS includes it … described below…
    From website :-
$164.50/year: includes 12 credits a year for any premium selection titles + the Plus Catalogue.
(works out to be $13.70 per month)
Best to do the month free first.. then do the 12mth package.

I just don't want to have a prob by subscribing to US package and then swap to AUS package.
    Anybody have some input here?

I imagine the safest way would probably be to make sure you cancel and that your US subscription time expires before resubbing with the AUD deal, rather than switch from one immediately to the other, especially if they end up overlapping somehow.

Alternatively to the 12 month sub, there's subbing for a month at the regular price and when going to cancel, they'll offer something $8 a month for three months. I've gotten this offer fairly reliably every time whenever I sporadically resub to get a specific audiobook. Works out to about $10.25 a month that way, but that's just my experience.

Most of the books I tried to listen on Audible are freely available on Youtube. YMMV.

I suggest people have a look at what is available with their local libraries. Many now have audible books.

  • It has given me a us account. I can’t get it to connect to Alexa to play on echo dot. Im sure it’s something that can be done but these accounts are never user friendly and make it really difficult to change things.

  • Just got an email for the AU Amazon prime offering $0.99/month for 3 months, the $16.45/month after this.

I was searching ozbargain to see if anyone else had commented on this and saw this post.

Now I’m not sure if mine was targeted or a spam.
