Trying to get the Canberrans for a meetup to celebrate OzBargain turning 16th!

Venue TBA atm and will be selected closer to the actual date. Prolly be either Gami, Grease Monkey or Hellenic Club in Woden. Happy for y’all to suggest other options.

Edit: added potential option (Okami) since I know some of you may love an all you can eat option for a bargain

I will be heading to the NSW meetup venues next week, thus for the one week prior scheduled

Update 23/10: The survey ended up with 4 to Hellenic and 4 to Gami.
Booked Gami for 13 20 pax, changed time to 7pm to accomodate for those who are coming straight from office. We’ve been booked for the tables outside as tables inside can only fit up to 10 ppl :)

Update 27/10: Event for Hellenic Bistro in Woden is here. Lemme know if you want me to remove you from the Gami event list

I vote for Hellenic Club. Easy parking, good variety of food, reasonably priced. :-)

I'm keen.

FYI the Hellenic Club may ask for membership to enter and not everyone may have one. Most of the time they'll waive it if you're only entering for the restaurant but YMMV.

  There's also Hellenic club in the city, where I go every Monday. I still don't have a membership and they never question me going in. Maybe they are more lenient than the Woden one.

    I don’t have a membership for either Hellenic clubs. Last time I went all they asked was for my drivers license but that was for the Hellenic in the city

I called Hellenic Club in Woden and they have a couple of restaurants within:
- Chinese (yum cha)
- Bistro
- Greek

Which one do y’all feel like eating?

  * Fillos Taverna (Greek)
  
  In saying that, city one is more convenient for me so that's my pick.

        @CodeXD: That works too haha but I’ll have to set up a $5 fees (fully refundable when turned up) as Okami charges for no shows

  Yeah that’s fine, as long there’s an OzB account that has clicked on this poll, coz the meetups are for OzBargainers and I’ll have to get Scotty to reimburse based on those who have an account
  
  Organisers would need to pay for the food & venue first, keep the receipt and OzBargain will reimburse the cost (unless you can get the venue can invoice us directly). Basically we would like to keep the events free for the OzBargainers.
