This 3DS is very well priced. If it was region free, I'd get one. But the games are so expensive here and you can't import them due to region locking. Not sure what to do now. Maybe I'll pass and hope the price comes back in some other sale, but this time with new colours and a second analog pad.
You can import from the UK where 3DS games are way cheaper than locally and they will work fine.
DSi XL is better suited for DS games though. If all you want to play is DS games then the DSi XL is the logical choice.
Why would you want to play DS games now? They all look like 99c indy games released on the iOS app store.
At least 3DS games have some semblance of production quality.
If I wanted to play DS games, I'd prefer my DS Lite where at least the screens are smaller and the low resolution screens don't look as awful (though they still do).
The pixel density on a DSi or XL has got to be the worst I've ever seen on a handheld.
Well better than vita at least…
