My wife bought a Pixel 4XL when it was released. It died right before the end of warranty and got replaced by a new unit.
The issue was that it wouldn't charge no matter what. My wife took the 2 weeks old replacement unit overseas where the same issue occurred where the device wouldn't turn on or charge, completely lifeless. Unfortunately, when we reported it Google/Vodafone we got the same answer "you are out of warranty"
We found many other users complaining about the same issue on many forums so it's definitely a hardware issue not user.
Is there anything we can do to get a refund/replacement or just chuck it in the bin and forget about it?
Please recycle and maybe even search how much it might cost to fix.
We're up to Pixel 7 now so it's what, 3 years old?
