Very close to all time low according to 3camels.
Me and my partner really enjoy this one; good balance of simplicity and depth.
@themadman "good balance of simplicity and depth"
Seconded. I enjoy my partner for precisely the same reasons…
Fantastic game. Kids also enjoy this one. Easy to pick up too
My favourite competitive board game
for people who like this game, also check out Azul: Summer Pavillion. A different kind of abstract but still very tactile. I personally like it more since its more about maximising your points, rather than trying to screw your opponent over (that makes my partner mad if i do it to her!). its a bit more difficult than Azul so this is great if you looking to add a bit more flavour. Also note that this is a standalone game
its $40 on amazon atm.
Thanks OP.
Reviews seem to say it's a fake version, reckon it's still worth getting? I'm tempted
Sold by Amazon AU so should be fine. Reviews from other dodgy (/dodgier) sellers all appear on the same product page
That's irrelevant. Amazon uses commingled inventory strategies, which means that all Azul Tile Games using Amazon fulfillment get thrown into the same pile irrespective of their source. That stock could have been solely provided by the company producing the game, or it could be some random third party seller who has mixed counterfeit stock in too. Which one you get is luck of the draw.
Amazon stock is a mess, I ordered a small part for a drone, from Amazon US and got a fly more kit, opened, with just the bag in it. These things are not even close to the same size or weight. So forget commingling with others sellers, other buyers returns can be fraudulently sold to you as new!
I did read somewhere they have been for some items stopping this practice especially when the manufacturer complains.
Always worth not just assuming sold by Amazon products are fine - one of the consumer agencies did a study a few years back and it was somewhere between 20-25% of Sold by Amazon products were actually not originals
Compare this game to another, Kingdomino? Sequence? Never tried it, I don't like Qwirkle fyi
I love Kingdomino.
I highly rate Azul, worth it at the all time low price.
For a 5+ year old, I would rate Sequence, Kingdomino and then Azul. My partner and I prefer Kingdomino over Azul.
I wouldn't rate Azul high in replayability. That's why we never bought a personal copy. We have only played diffferent versions of Azul borrowed from our toy library.
Is this really sold by Amazon? I can’t check out to a tasmanian address, bizarre. Bought summer pavilion instead! Thank alebox.
Had same issue with regional NSW. Weird :(
Had been waiting for this to go under $40. Then one day bought this at St Vinnie's brand new and unplayed for $8 :) While this was a complete fluke, I feel like ozbargainers will appreciate the savings that were had.
Minimum age is 96. I’m hoping that’s months, not years! ; )
Definitely one of my favorite board games I've played, but I'm not much of a board game guy
gone to $42 now
And "sold by" and "ships from" BHARAT-MALL
Is this a deal breaker?
"Just launched" | "No Feedback" - I would say definitely don't trust BHARAT-MALL
Might be a counterfeit tbh
Back in stock
I'm #1 at this game
