Just seen an ad on tv for this tv for $1097 at the good guys. im in newcastle, i think it was a weekly or this weekend special

  I believe the model you are referring to is the series 5 UA46EH5306M. The good guys website mentions 50hz only.

  Let's just say that I prefer the older D series than the new E series, I think Samsung has taken a backware step on their TV's this year…
