no,, it's using pre-tax income to buy it.
And I agree, it's how I bought my iPhone 14 pro max 512gb this year at launch. So much easier than messing around with discounted gift cards (beyond the cheaper Apple store credit)/etc or having to depreciate it over a couple of years.

That's only beneficial if you work for a NFP, hospital, some govt org which does not pay fbt. Otherwise, the benefit is marginal and only if you are on the highest tax rate by which you wouldn't be asking this question!?
