Bit of a strange one, but has anyone ever had aftermarket nose rests fitted on their glasses? I've got a pair of glasses where I realised that the original rests, which is really just the frame itself plus a small protrusion, is really sitting too close to the eyes and will need an aftermarket rest fitted on it to extend the distance. I've been quoted anywhere from $90 to $200 to have one fitted. Has anyone had one done at a reasonable price before?

Mine's similar to this which is why I need additional nose pads added to the frame https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/2019-china-rimless-fr…
You could try these stick on ones for just a few dollars apiece. They offer no adjustments though
Thanks, it looks like there needs to be some sort of a protrusion on top of the frame to catch or clip it in place, which my glasses doesn't have.
Are they the frames designed for Asian faces?
https://www.visiondirect.com.au/optical-centre/frames/what-d…No its just glasses bought off OPSM
Check with framecare for a quote as that's who a lot of places go through and skip the middleman, but $90+ is probably about right
The rests are an integral part of the frame and they're designed to be bendable (sometimes — not all frames). Grab onto it with some pliers and slowly pull on it to extend it.
You might need to visit an optometrist to make further adjustments, otherwise you risk permanently damaging it.
