Great price even with shipping. But 18kg only.
I have two similar ones from Kogan.

super impractical/painful for anything that is not basic swings I think

    • Is it the weight or the size/shape that makes it impractical?

The weight is adjustable, the description says

      Includes 2 x 2.1kg weight plates, 2 x 2.5kg weight plates, 2 x 2.7kg weight plates and 1 x 3.4kg grip handle

        the shape.

if you look at many kettlebell exercises, you tend to hold or rest the body of the bell on yourself a lot in particularly the forearms (look at KB snatches, TGU, KB jerks, KB cleans etc). If you look at the unloaded weight, they have slots, if you miss a single one, it looks like you would have have a lot of edges digging into you.

if you are just using it for weight, then a adjustable dumbbell would probably be better is my feeling

        • Thanks for the explanation! As you may have guessed, I haven't tried kettlebells yet.

@Russ: no prob! Im pretty noob at it, but trying to improve.
I would suggest if you are looking at them, to get the standard ball shaped ones.

Rebel sports has these weird shapes that arent really conducive to actual kettlebell exercises either so would avoid.

But even the swing is really good exercise, the form of this adjustable is just limiting that's all

  • I am interested in this offered by Woolworths Everyday Market. Has anyone got feedback about this item?

I have no experience with weights, but that one, from the description, appears to be concrete-filled plastic weights. Such weights are usually discouraged in comments I've seen here on OzBargain. From the photos on the webpage, it looks like the thread that holds the retaining collar in place is plastic, probably molded on an iron rod. Plastic threads aren't durable.

      • Thanks for your feedback Russ.
