Looking for setting a home cinema for the first time. Looking for an entry level future proof AVR.
LG 55'B8
Klipsch RP-600M Bookshelf Speakers
Denon X1700H for 1180 or similar….Marantz NR1711?
Can these be volume adjusted via LG smart remote?

How future-proof? There's a wide spectrum between Atmos-compatible and an 11-channel system, for example.
Generally, look for an AV receiver that at least supports HDMI 2.1 (including VRR, DolbyVision, etc) and eARC. From there, pick the features you think you're going to want over the next eight years. If you really don't believe you're going to ever run a 9 channel system with ceiling speakers, don't pay for an amp that offers those features.
Yes it can. Set HDMI CEC control via receiver settings to ON
Are you planning to use your TV as the source?
Usually, its blueray player / media player / apple tv etc as source and then AV receiver processes the sound and send it to connected speaker and picture to tv.
You can use the TV as source, but will be loosing out on the audio quality
I recently bought a Denon X1700H for my C9 and was a little disappointed in the build quality vs my old amp (cambridge audio azur 650a).
Overall I'm still happy with it but if I could do it all again I would get a higher quality receiver.
Unless you need two 2.1 inputs (Console+BR?) I'd recommend just connecting the single HDMI 2.1 source directly to the TV and have another HDMI cable run eARC back to the amp for audio. Then the amp won't need to be HDMI 2.1 so you can get a more premium but older model.
In order to get full chroma 4:4:4 this is how I have set up my X1700H anyway as my XSX must be connected to HDMI 1 which has no eARC. HDMI 2 connects to the receiver via eARC (https://youtu.be/5Y9qcXMQg_s?t=660)
Good luck!
I have an Apple TV but stopped using it as LG supports Kayo/Binge and overall the UI is nicer on the LG tv.
I have no other inputs, usecase is TV audio and ideally bluetooth for steaming from phone or laptop music.
Thanks for all the comments - i dont need many channels as no plans to create surround sound soon. I woulnt even know where to start looking for a cheaper option or a second hand option.
If they have ARC, which they should as it's been out for a very very very long time now.
