Is the price good or bad?

    $350 off trade-in coupon fyi

    • +2

I get the trade Bonus by selecting an item with no 4g, like the Galaxy Watch then selecting scratched screen and they offer $20 for it. After I use the coupon I email saying I won't post the watch and to charge me the $20 :) works every time. Almost not worth the effort though because their system is a PITA to use

      • This is actually pretty smart, I'm gonna use this next time :)

  • 350 bonus on trade in too. Not as good as the $500 from previous deal but still good.

    Do Samsung price match?

    • +1

      Not at the moment unfortunately.

    Got this model
As much as I love it's small form factor, the battery life a bit of a joke

    • What's your average SoT with it?

        Does this helps?

          oh my lord.

My mate 20 Pro that's 2 years old does better than that yikes

          • +2

@solidussnake: my mate 20 pro that's 4 years old does better than that

            • +2

@drprox: The company was ahead of its time, funny seeing Samsung struggling to keep up

              • @solidussnake: Exactly, after Huawei 'drown', the other competitors are back with their own pace. I'm not a CCP supporter but this is not healthy for the mobile markets, the users are the ultimate losers

              • @solidussnake: yep, honestly it's why I can't bring myself to upgrade. Even when I moved from my Mate 10 I had no real reason too. Their hardware has always been superb.

        • I wonder whether I can do a warranty claim on the battery life, consider I got it back in July…

          • @BigLeviathan: You might if it's under one year old for the battery as it's considered wear and tear..

            • @solidussnake: i've successfully had phones (multiple) replaced within the first year or just after where their battery wear and capacity has exceeded/fallen short of expected states within that timeframe. It's a pain. But you can make it happen.

    • Like the smaller size but the battery worries me. Got a 22+ for wife from last 500 bonus deal.

  • Wish the phone is lighter or have bigger battery. S20 was lighter while having larger screen with bigger battery….
But this is the only compact phone I found in recent times with decent specs… Got one few months ago

    • Zenfone?

In September 2020, with this price i was able to get a 128GB S20+ 5G. Surely they could've done better than this.

I'm expecting S22+ 256GB at this price by now.

  • No plus so no plus

  • I have the S22 5G. Camera shutter lag is atrocious. Have turned off all the AI predictive scene optimisation stuff to no avail. Way too many blurry pics (previous was S20 > S9 etc which had no issues once you click the camer button the pic was snapped).

Test the camera if you can prior to purchase on anything than a perfect sunny scene.

Apart from that it is a good phone. Thought no real difference compared to S20 in day to day use (heavy business use).

  • Samsung store has the same discount + $300 trade-in and Samsung edu is now down to $874.30. Neither beats this deal but just thought I'd mention it.

    • There's no trade in bonus for Samsung edu is that right?

      • Unfortunately not. I keep checking though

Can use $50 newsletter code on edu store.

Or main store use $50 newsletter and $100 loyalty code.
