when was vip night. how do i become a vip? :D
$249 - 16gb = bargain!
when will that happen again.
VIP night was last week Tuesday night and the Tuesday night before that.
Its a part of their stock take clearance that isn't advertised in catalogues.
Basically anyone who already has been a customer at the Good Guys should have their mobile number or email down in the system.
According to the salesperson I spoke to they send out invites a couple days before hand either by mail, txt or email.
The salespeople aren't told what's on sale until that night (hence preventing salespeople from snapping anything up for themselves).
Discounts vary from 10, 20, 50, 60% off on some items
Even I was surprised at the price when I went in.
I think next VIP event is around Christmas.
I bought ipad from them before and they should have my record but I didn't receive invitation.
never heard about VIP night? I bought a cooktop from them and no email as well.
Maybe u bought it with gift cards that is why they don't think u deserve to be a VIP.
did you buy one?
Galaxy tab is not a product of Mr. Harvey.
You sound like a typical apple user.
Baaaa!
Everybody knew will see lower price for this tab soon but we are talking about now.
All gadgets price drop after a few months.
What are rambling on about? The screen size is the selling point of this device, go and buy an iPad2 if you don't like it, we don't care.
We also don't have to believe you that the price will drop, its what happens naturally with electronic devices. Duh.
Another apple zombie…
Excellent. Let's sell Apple stock. It's a bargain right now. Target price - USD20.
umm the tab 7.7 has a better screen than the ipad 2 - has a super amoled display which has a higher pixel density than the ipad 2's screen.
And better RAM, and CPU and the freedom of Android.

Pricematch at Officeworks for $368.60
few days ago, this one was a better deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/72602.
So ******* cheap…seriously guys…
price is inversely proportional to lag
The 32gb Tf300 can be had for around the same price as the 32gb 7.7 galaxy. And theres a massive gap in performance difference between the two.
Care to explain your theory? Maybe formulate it somehow?
tf300 im guessing your talking about the 10.1 inch that was made to be a budget device that fits nicely underneith the premium tf201?
haha so true
It was overpriced according to some reviews. Even I bought one from oo.com.au for $360 after using 10% off voucher I would still consider quite expensive. Worse is the accessories are not available in Australia other than buying from HK through eBay. Worst is ICS upgrade is not released yet.
yea i got one too. its actually one of the better android tablets out their with the super amoled display. But yea, pretty disappointed with the lack of accessories in Aus and still not ICS…
Neg for what? You can neg if you can find cheaper price for the same device but comparing this with higher model and price then neg it is just not the good ozbargainers would do.. Most ozbargainers are good people with warm hearts but the people like you make me think twice to post any deal in the future so I don't have to deal with the people like you. Really sick of keyboard warriors. Thanks ozbargain for being one of the best part in my life. Goodbye. Have a good day all
LOL! Mountain out of a molehill much? Someone put a silly neg on your deal so you'll never look at this site ever again? You're not gonna get much sympathy chucking ridiculous tantrums like that.
Lol… I seriously think he's gone for good!
no one is telling u to buy it. if u are not interested, dont read the post.
and next time, compare apples with apples. different form factor. u might as well say your phone is cheaper and can make calls
Good Guys Auburn is trying to clear these out; on VIP nights it was $249 - 16gb and $299 - 32gb. Will check what the price is at Good Guys tomorrow.
