    I’ve heard rise (and expansion) is the best experience on switch… thoughts?

      It's hard to compare because I've played Rise on both Switch and PC and of course PC will be miles ahead.
      The stories and main games differ greatly in gameplay as SpeedRunnerLink said. Apples and oranges.

      However if you have a switch and are looking for a new game, I'd recommend MHR.

    FWIW I loved playing this game on switch. It also does a lot of things that I wish Pokemon did in their series and IMO is better then quite a few of the Pokemon games I've played in the series. Its my first game into the monster hunter series though and I sorta hope it does well because there's a lot of fun I had here.

    For those who are unsure, the demo is free and covers the start of the game (and quite a lot of it) and you can bring that save game over to the actual game when/if you choose to buy it.

    I had the game. Good game only flaw is the camera height can’t be adjusted. It is too low for me to see any monsters running towards me.

    Was planning on buying this eventually but I've had a lot on my plate already lately. Not likely to see it drop much lower though so I bit the bullet.

    Was there a patch that fixed the Frame rate? I’ve been reading some reviews and they same the game runs fine with only slight drops

      Apparently it does not.

      You can grab the PC version for cheaper on CDKeys though if that's any comfort.

    I played the demo of the first game and I bought it for iOS during a sale but I didn’t get far.

    I downloaded the demo for this game on switch and decide to get it. Another game for the backlog!
