Looking at Game Pass Ultimate for the Xbox
Cheapest way I can see is just going month to month with the cheap non stackable ~$1.50 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate - 1 Month Non-Stackable Global keys from CDkeys or the like
So 12 months ~$18
Is there any issue with this apart from the inconvenience of having to do it every month? ie. Xbox will only allow one per account or something?

I thought it would be just adding the code to the existing account. It states that it is a non-stackable code not a trial code
Home Gold/Game Pass means just one user on the console needs it for online/game pass

i was under the impression you could buy up to 36 (or 42) months of live & convert it to GamePass Ultimate at a 70% odd ratio (if you had no current sub, i.e. expired).
Was planning on doing it this way in just a couple of days.
I had a look at i works out to around 170ish for the 3 years now with the current price/exchange rate/fees etc
Can you buy 36 months worth of these 1 month codes? It could work out even cheaper if you don't immediately apply each 1 month code, like if you happen to not play your xbox for two weeks after a month expires then that code effectively lasted you six weeks.
Are you sure you can just keep using these 1 month codes and if you can are you sure 15 months from now Microsoft will still let you do it, when do they expire?
That was the question i was asking. If you just topped up month to month. You can't stack them. I wouldnt risk buying a bunch either because they would likely not work when you went to use them later…
@Brad002: Another thing is, do you plan on using Gamepass Ultimate to access PC games? Will that home console sharing thing still work on PC?
@AustriaBargain: PC will work for most games but not all, MS Flight Sim and Minecraft Dungeons being two that won't work on users that don't actually have Game Pass that I've found
@sss333: I only ever tested it with Sea of Thieves on PC so I can play with someone using cross play with my xbox.

Starting a new account each month? Wouldn't that cause problems with your game saves resetting each month, and progress in online games.
