JBL Flip 5 Vs JBL Charge 5

Hi everyone :)

I am looking to buy a portable speaker for use around the house. I am comparing the JBL Flip 5 $100 and the Charge 5 $134. Does anyone have either or both to share some knowledge?

I know the Ultimate Boom 3 is on sale at $98 but I think the JBL has better sound?

I have a JBL Flip 3 now, but it has seen better days.

  I haven't used the Flip 5 but I do own a Charge 5 and it's a fantastic speaker. I can definitely recommend it!

  I've got the Flip 6, Charge 5 and Xtreme 3.

  It really depends what you want it for.

  If you want it for portability, get the Flip 6 (I wouldn't even consider the Flip 5). The Flip 6 is $114 from The Good Guys Commercial.

  If you want something that's portable but will probably stay in one place and won't be moved around that much, the Charge 5 is $134 from Good Guys Commercial. It's maybe only 10-15% louder than the Flip 6.

  If you need just a speaker that'll stay in one place and will pump, then the Xtreme 3 for $267 is great as well.
