Experian Credit Reports You Can Ask to Place a Temporary Ban

Because of the Optus debacle I applied last night for a Experian Credit Report, the site says it takes up to ten days however it was in my email account when I woke up this morning

They have advised "There are no Consumer Credit Enquiries listed on file."

I also requested a ban on my Experian Credit Report the ban was completed straight away.

During the ban period, any provider who utilises Experian Credit Reports will be advised that a ban is in place on your Experian Credit Report and we will not disclose your credit information to them.

I will pay Scotty to ban people posting new Optus dataleak threads.

    • Don't think Slavs done an in-depth analysis on it yet though ….

Do you think of him when you eat your cereal, too? For all the complaints about him making posts, people always seem to find an excuse to bring him into the conversation.

A free option (from Barefoot newsletter) to lock down your credit file:

Step 1: Download the Credit Savvy app (either in the Apple or Google app stores).

Step 2: Verify your details (I used my driver’s licence and Medicare card).

Step 3: Press “protect” from the bottom navigation.

Step 4: Press “Request a ban”. Credit Savvy will then let the other credit agencies know you’ve got a ban on your file within 2 business days.

Step 5: On the 16th day the Credit Savvy app will remind you that your pause is ending. When you get that alert – and this is important – click “ban my credit report for 12-months”.
