"Great saving from $59.00." The price that absolutely no Ozber has ever paid for Kaspersky Total Security.
BTW I've been using Kaspersky Total Security for several years and have been very happy with it.
Though I much prefer the 2 year plan, only because I don't have to re-activate the plan each year.

      You can stack the activations.
      Register the first one.
      Add the second.
It will automatically use the second one when the first one expires.

Your windows machine by default has built in antivirus and firewall protection - windows defender. It is suitably sufficient.
You don't need to purchase antivirus software.

    • Unless it slows down your computer. In which case, it's better to replace it with something lighter,

  • From Russia with Love

  • For many years kaspersky has had close contacts or a company branch in switzerland from memory as far back as version 3.5 of the original anti virus which was available from the swiss branch.

I think over the past few years much of kaspersky dealings are or were tied in and working from the switzerland branch thingy.

Still waiting on eset internet security to come on sale… ugh!
Thats about all I can say…
(And im dating a Russia… says something about my faith in this product… doesnt it?)
Think ill be single again soon too! Hahaha

    • You can always buy ESET products cheaply.

      • Def not. Did thst once and was messaged a lic key for the sellers corporate plan.
Adds my systems to theor corp license list.
Was advitised as a retail key which is was def not.
Been in IT way to many years to waste time and/or money on that shit again.
Ill wait for another retail sale, or jump ship to another vendor in the coming weeks.
Buyer beware on that sort of key.

I do suspect that there may not be another $9/3 lic retail key this year. The last was due to HT and Anyware (as the old disty), dumping eset as a vendor. Cant see thst sort of deal coming again sadly.

        • That's a shame. I bought my last ESET license from Amazon India for about $6 and I had no issues with it.

          • @rogerm22: Yeah, i grabbed the HT Amazon AU special
Was about $9 for 3 lic.
Cant see it happening again sadly.

  • I tried lots of protection software over the years and settled with Panda Free for over a decade. Lightweight and unintrusive, give it a shot if you're looking for a real bargain.

It's terrible at detecting new malware. Microsoft Defender, or just about any other big name antivirus is a much better option.

  • Have bought and used Eset I/S for the last 2 years, extremely happy with its' performance [although now & again get p!ssed off with certain sites being "blacklisted" for Security purposes and am not always able to select the Ignore option…] but its' range of Personal options are great!

AGREE 100% has been difficult to find a cheapo replacement [last renewal was Oz bargain HT site last December?] after weeks of trying I eventually took a British eBay.co.uk option and took the $10 something offer…saw THIS listing and began to ponder…still thinking it over as a decent option for other PCs in the Household…

TBH…I always try to limit or minimise Defender's access to my info - which admittedly contains ZERO State Secrets…

EVERYBODY is missing the bigger picture here:
The mispelling of the word "license" - it's actually "licence" (with a "c")

    • лицензия

  • i noticed that Norton 360 is also reasonably priced and has good reviews. Still deciding between Kaspersky and Norton 360

    • Kaspersky provides better protection. But before buying any antivirus you should install the trial version and see how it runs on your system.

  • They are very slow with their service. I purchased it yesterday. I am still waiting for an update from them.

    • It's a public holiday today in Queensland where they are based

  • Used to use Symantec endpoint.

The Symantec offerings now are decent.

It’s annoying when they try to install vpn software without you asking
